Group Pioneer Meeting - Full Guidance
A complete step-by-step guide for NOW Group facilitators to deliver exceptional Pioneer onboarding sessions that build momentum, clarity, and immediate connections.
Pre-Session Prep (5 mins)
Preparation sets the tone for success. Open the member's NET_SYNC report and extract the critical intelligence that will drive a personalized, high-value session. Your goal is to arrive fully informed and ready to connect dots between the member's business and the NOW network.
Review Core Profile
Highlight ICP, top pain points, goals, and perfect client examples. Note preferred partners, IPP, and referral triggers.
Identify Intro Targets
Scout 2–3 specific introduction targets from both the member's assembly and your wider NOW network.
Confirm Logistics
Verify assembly assignment and next session date/time. Prepare note system and key resource links.
Session Flow (45 mins)
Part 1 — Welcome & Connection (10 mins)
Start strong with the welcome script that establishes tribe mentality and forward momentum. Secure buy-in early by asking "Sound good?" before proceeding. This small confirmation creates psychological ownership and active participation.
Build rapport by exploring their work/life integration, location, hobbies, and any side hustles or passion projects. Share a brief personal story about why you lead the assembly—authenticity creates connection and models the vulnerability that drives referral culture.
Connection Questions
  • Location and work/life integration approach
  • Favorite hobby or personal interest
  • Side hustle or passion project
  • Your personal leadership story (brief)
Part 2 — ICP Deep Dive & Validation (15 mins)
This is where you earn your facilitator stripes. Validate demographics and refine as needed. Confirm the number one urgent pain point their ICP faces right now—specificity drives referrability. Identify where their ideal clients actually spend time: LinkedIn groups, Facebook communities, podcasts, industry events. Lock down revenue range and business size sweet spot. Capture every nuance and update notes in real time so nothing falls through the cracks.
Validate Demographics
Review and tweak ICP characteristics to ensure precision and relevance.
Confirm Top Pain Point
Identify the single most urgent problem the ICP faces right now.
Map ICP Hangouts
Document where they spend time: LinkedIn, Facebook, podcasts, events.
Lock Revenue Range
Confirm business size and revenue sweet spot for ideal client fit.
Part 3 — Business Architecture & Assembly Fit (10 mins)
Paraphrase their business architecture back to them and confirm accuracy—this demonstrates active listening and builds trust. Explore how NOW fits into their broader business plan and strategy. Ask what they genuinely enjoy most about their business to uncover motivation drivers.
Discuss which NOW values resonate most deeply and why. This reveals alignment, capacity, and engagement potential. Document motivation level, time capacity, and predicted engagement trajectory.
Part 4 — Integration & 30-Day Action Plan (8 mins)
Transition from conversation to concrete action. Ask directly: what type of introduction do you want most right now? Value Added Specialist, Solution Partner, or Direct Prospect? Name 2–3 specific members for immediate introductions—use real names, not vague categories. Confirm Eye2Eye commitments with specific people and dates.
01
Identify Intro Priority
Determine whether they need Value Added Specialists, Solution Partners, or Direct Prospects most urgently.
02
Name Real Members
Specify 2–3 actual members for immediate introductions (Member A, Member B, Member C).
03

Confirm who they'll meet and when—no vague "someones," only specific commitments.
04
Clarify Expectations
Re-state assembly rhythm, Eye2Eye cadence, and contribution formats to ensure alignment.
05
Connect on LinkedIn
Add them immediately and confirm welcome/tag process across NOW platforms.
06
Build 30-Day Checklist
Lock attendance at next assembly, complete 3 Eye2Eyes, prepare 60-second pitch, give 1 intro, connect with 5 members.
Part 5 — Invite to Grow & Close (2 mins)
Close with momentum and possibility. Ask who they could invite that aligns with NOW values—plant the seed for network expansion. Mention the affiliate pathway and share the link. End with confidence and establish yourself as an open-door resource for support and questions.
